  1. Open to Surprises: Leave the reactive mindset behind and let go of the past to welcome surprises. Since the IT teams respond to the emergency tasks on priority, the senior management might assume that the IT team is capable of performing these tasks only. They would ignore the IT team for their major contribution to the core of the business. So, showcase whatever the team does along with throwing challenges for them to surprise the seniors instead.
  2. Improve Visibility: Unveil the extraordinary efficiencies of IT teams to improve operations and their visibility in the organization. Collaborate to provide value and make IT more about finding a way to team up with others while adding value to the business.
  3. Know More: Look for answers to the unidentified Question yourself if you are looking for the right answer. Find ways to get to the root cause of an issue and determine what you need to know and how to get that information. Do not fear change and stepping into a different approach to address the matter if the existing one is not bringing the desired results or answers.
