Mankind to Machine: 13 Computing Devices You’ll be Wearing in the Future

In case you haven’t heard, we’ll soon be able to wear computers as eyeglasses with the release of Google Glass next year. However, wearable technology is already here in many shapes and forms. Zack Whittaker clues us in on 13 computing devices we could be wearing in the future. From trackers embedded in teeth to electronic tattoos across the forehead, these technologies can be used for everything from tracking health problems to performing brain scans.

Doctors aren’t the only ones adapting wearable technology. The military is working on super strength contact lenses that allow soldiers to see vast distances. The fashion industry is designing 3D printed clothes that are not only fashion forward but also create perfectly fitting body armor. For the average tech geek smart watches will soon be available from Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, and Google.

There’s no limit to what the future could hold. In fact, many companies are bringing the future to us now. Soon you could find it staring you in the eye, strapped to your wrist, or written across your forehead.
