Public policy VP claims that Amazon keeps the record as long as the customer wants it. However, CNET reported that it keeps customer data as long as it requires and shares it with third parties too. CBS News’ Ben Fox Rubin discloses that Amazon Alexa records this data to improve customer services and AI responses. However, the brand is trying to address these privacy issues.
