How Not to Micromanage as a CEO?

There is actually a physical manifestation that we see in ourselves by being micromanaged. In this video at Ted Talks, Chieh Huang explains that it’s not the work that makes you feel tired, but it is the pressure you get when someone keeps a watch over your every movement. Truly, micromanagement is not effective enough, but still, we do it. Reason being, no one appreciates failure. Huang suggests that not many celebrate failure, but failure actually is necessary for the people in the long-term to accomplish smart and imaginative mission. He says the only way CEOs cannot micromanage their staff is by trusting them.
