How Amazon is Reusing Sleepy Retail Spaces?

In the recent past, the online sales giant Amazon was seen acquiring failed mall sites in Northeast Ohio. What kind of well-planned strategy this might be? In this video at the Wall Street Journal, you can see how Amazon is planning an expansion in the state of Ohio. The reason for this big move is, mall properties have a lot of space and the company’s fulfillment centers are enormous. The second reason is, malls were typically built near major population areas. Amazon is rapidly expanding its fulfillment centers to deliver packages to its consumers way faster than the usual order delivery time. The last but another major reason for reusing failed mall spaces is the proximity of such spaces to the highway which makes it easier to make seamless delivery to the consumer doorsteps.
