FoldiMate: A Working Prototype to Fold Laundry

Folding clothes is a clumsy task, many working professionals take it as a burden. In this video at Engadget, Dana Wallman talks about an exclusive innovation in the world of robots— FoldiMate that can ease the task of folding laundry. The rectangular gadget that looks more like a mini-fridge has a working version of a bot that can fold various types and size of clothes. The bot can fold about 25 apparel in less than five minutes. All you need to do is, feed all the mid-size clothes into the machine and it will spit it out folded at the bottom on a shelf. Expectedly, by the end of 2019, the company will bring its retail version at the estimated cost of $1,000.
