Fast Year-on-Year Growth for Boeing 737 Max

Addressing concerns over the safety of the Boeing 737 Max after the Lion Air crash in Indonesia, Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg talks about the company’s growing global services. In this video at Fox Business, Muilenburg discloses that his firm is seeing tremendous traffic growth across the globe going up by 6 to 7 percent a year and they are ramping up the production and bringing new innovation and capabilities to the 737 Max. The company will be taking 14 a month production rate by 2019. Next year onwards, the Global Triple 7X will go on flight testing after the first delivery in 2020. The company has a backlog of about 5800 commercial airplanes, which is equivalent to 7 years of backlog.
