  2. Effective Communication: The CIOs must convince department leads about the DX benefits of the project. This will make the DX implementation easier and may prove progressive in terms of recording and quantifying early indicators of success.
  3. Endorse Constant Changes: CIOs must ensure that the projects are flexible enough to achieve the established objectives. This will allow the organizations to transform and drive digital services that deliver maximum value to the clients and staff.
  4. Effectively Scale Solutions: Once the CIOs identify and test the best DX method, implement it to scale across target markets for optimal success.
  5. Mitigate Failure: Customers or end-users are exposed to enough organizations offering digital applications. To avoid the risks of a digital catastrophe, CIO network needs to be proficient in supporting any new projects with significant investment. They must hold a clear vision of end-users’ potential issues in the project and mitigate them instantly.
  6. C-suite Engagement: DX promotes the need for new roles like the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) in the organization. However, the emergence of these new roles is not threatening to the CIO. It’s an opportunity to hold control over the digital agenda and play a substantial role in shaping the overall company vision.
  7. Plan for Long-Term Success: DX is an ongoing process that is shaping up with by the progress and development of new technology. A CIO’s job is to keep key stakeholders onboard with progress and ensure secured growth and success of the organization.
