Amazon Gets $1.5B Tax Breaks to Move to New York. Good or Bad?

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweets that the $1.5 billion tax break to Amazon is a bad idea. In this Fox Business video, American Majority CEO Ned Ryun and former Chamber of Commerce Scott Bolden debated at length. While Ryun is against the very idea of giving the trillion-dollar company room to skip taxes, Bolden thinks otherwise. By giving the tech giant this tax break, New York is getting an investment of 5 billion dollars in return. This will help in improving transportation, housing, and airport facilities. Along with it, the new Amazon headquarter will offer 50,000 jobs and $150,000 average pay package. Ryun concludes that local businesses should have got the tax breaks rather than the tech giant.
