3 Companies Can Make Your Space Travel Dream Possible

Tech Insider reports that SpaceX, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic are competing to make civilian space travel possible. The “How SpaceX, Blue Origin, And Virgin Galactic Plan On Taking You To Space” video describes their various approaches. Riding Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin, you can be weightless in space for 4 minutes. However, the space travel will come to an end in 11 minutes. Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic passenger spaceship can carry 6 passengers and 2 crew members. It will keep you weightless for 45 minutes in the 2.5-hour space travel. Elon Musk’s SpaceX, as usual, has set its goals a bit higher, of establishing colonies in other planets. The spaceship will be able to send 100 lives to Mars. The company is also preparing to leverage space to reach faraway places on earth faster. In the future, you might reach Tokyo from New York in 37 minutes by entering space for a short period.
