How This Technology Can Help Prevent Droughts in California

Climate change and overpopulation have led to droughts in several places on earth. In the U.S., California’s drought is costing more than 10,000 jobs a year and $2 billion in revenue. In this CNNMoney video, Weather Modification International demonstrates how they bring rainfall in areas with severe droughts. Cloud seeding, as per President Neil Brackin, ‘is the enhancement of the natural precipitation process.’ Pilots identify clouds that have water and inject chemicals in them. That condenses the water particles to rain. However, he clarifies that they cannot create clouds or infuse water in the dry ones.
