Being able to have a repertoire of unique and new business experiences can only be found outside the comfort of HQ. While it may be uncomfortable at first to go against the grain, the incentive to be experimental can be a magnet for innovation in your company.
As technology becomes more open and frequent to a variety of businesses, the need to be able to move these ideas between departments has become crucial to a company’s functionality. This transfer of information between experts in the company and the implementation of new processes has the potential to take a business to the next level. In addition to accelerating company success, CIOs must always be able to see that throwing money around doesn’t solve the problem, but being able to utilize technology in an innovative way is where the focus should be at.
Samuels also makes sure to emphasize the importance of not letting the technical aspects get in the way when discussing business with associates:
