5 Resume Tips to Help You Land the Job You Want

In a bite-sized article for Yahoo Finance, Mandi Woodruff lists five obscure tips for crafting the right resume. The first is to include hyperlinks to your personal website and/or LinkedIn if possible. Second, since research suggests employers spend the most time scanning the middle of a resume, center all of your headings to put important information in that path. Third, pick a font that does not distract or hurt the eyes. Fourth, assuming you have been in the game a while, get rid of all the details about high school and college that no one cares about anymore. And fifth, frame your description of past work in terms of accomplishments, instead of merely what your duties are.
