What is a Good Second Career for Someone Over 50?

Robin Elizabeth Margolis writes a short article for Chron hitting the highlights of what it means to be seeking a new career in your 50s. Back when social security was originally implemented, teenagers at the time were not even expected to live into their 60s. This is happily not the case now, but it obviously creates a lot of new financial complications. AARP recommends seniors seek jobs in rapidly growing fields like nursing, customer service, retail sales, truck driving, and home health care. AARP has a “Recareering” website to help.
