Ten Helpful Things to Say to Your Boss

Let’s keep it positive. Here are ten good things you can say to your boss, courtesy of Marie G. McIntyre at Your Office Coach. For starters, things like, “Did you hear about…?” are always good to keep your boss informed and in the loop. Ask them about their priorities and their goals for the year, to keep aligned. Likewise, ask how you can improve, or even their general opinions on work, so as to be of better help. Try to chime in with new ideas whenever you can. But also be the first person to spot potential problems or relay bad news. Offer some compliments to your boss too, as long as they are sincere.
