Work During “Power Hours” to Get More Done in Less Time

Mihir Patkar relates a quick tip from Startup Workout’s Kevin Fleming about the usefulness of “power hours.” A power hour means completely dedicating yourself to one task for that full sixty minutes. At the end of the hour, you decide if you think you can dedicate another full sixty minutes, and if you think you can do it, then you do it! Rinse and repeat. The idea is that you force yourself to commit without interruption to just the thing that really needs to get done, and Patkar says it could be a better option for the people who usually need time to ease into a task. Frankly, it sounds easier said than done to me, but give it a shot anyway and let us know how it went.
