Documenting Online Navigation is important because it provides an understanding of the system or subsystem’s screen structure and navigation paths, business rules and image. It also provides the application support teams and users a view of all screen layouts – field titles, relative size and location. New support team members or users can also easily see the flow and visual representation on all navigation, screens and data elements. This significantly reduces the training time, errors and support calls.
