Be Ethical with Your Personal Branding

Branding is about putting yourself in the best possible light to make your services attractive to potential clients or employers. But where do you draw the line between sunny word choices and outright lies? Lew Sauder discusses this in a post at Consulting 101. Among other things, he reminds you that it is very possible for someone to perform a background check on you, so think twice about putting anything ridiculous on your resume. Sauder also says it is important to be consistent in your claims, especially as it regards your professionalism.
