Mark Cuban’s Book Picks for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

As we all know, Mark Cuban is the most entertaining person on Shark Tank, and he also happens to be a billionaire. An article at Favobooks compiles some of Cuban’s favorite books that aspiring entrepreneurs may want to read. Among them is Andrew Carnegie’s The Gospel of Wealth, which, among other things, finds that the wealthy must live virtuously and assist the less fortunate. Another book is Jason Fried’s Rework, which stresses focus and thinking critically through a situation to reduce rework in business. Next is The Only Investment You’ll Ever Need, by Andrew Tobias, which Cuban claims is the only investment book he ever read that “truly made sense.” Then there is Cold Calling Techniques, by Stephan Schiffman, which Cuban finds to be a quintessential work for learning how to make sales. One more useful book is Clayton M. Christensen’s The Innovator’s Dilemma, which helped Cuban understand why some ideas just do and do not work in the tech industry.
