6 Ways to Be Liked and Get Promoted

If being liked for its own sake is not good enough for you, then Robert Locke writes an article about how to be liked in order to get promoted. You can start by spelling out for your manager the work you have achieved, since often managers do not realize the full scope of the work you have put in for the business. Second, manage your personal brand by being eager to help others and share your experience. Third, be creative. (Yeah, I know, good luck.) Fourth, when collaborating with colleagues, be as realistically friendly as you can muster and stay open-minded to ideas that challenge your own.
