9 Tips for the Best First Impression

Begin by ensuring that your physical appearance reflects how you want your personality to come across. Nothing is more important than just maintaining and sharing your genuine self. After that, remember the mundane things like being punctual, showing good manners, (“Please” and “thank you” truly are magical.) and silencing your cellphone. Research suggests body language has four times the influence on impressions as words spoken, so smile and adopt a strong posture. Exude positivity in general. Begin the conversation if possible with some comfortable neutral ground, like “How has your day been?” to break the ice. Then just remember to actually listen to what the other person is saying, and you should be golden!
