Three Questions That Determine If You’re a Team Player at Work

Cathy Paper provides three very fundamental questions at American City Business Journals to determine if you are a team player or a self-centered mole person. The first question is very simply, “Do you say please and thank you?” Gratitude is one of the cornerstones of business. One hand washes the other, so do not come to the table with dirty hands. Next up is, “Do you speak kindly of others and never celebrate a competitor’s failures?” Again, humility goes a long way. Always emphasize the positive, and realize that constructive criticism is the only good criticism. Lastly, Paper asks, “Are you honest?” Nobody likes a liar, unless someone did something truly heinous and needs a good defense lawyer. You can view Paper’s full article here:
