A Closer Look at Career Goals and How Millennials Define Success

Maybe it is thanks to technology, maybe it is thanks to delusions of grandeur, but Generation Y is actually getting things done in business at early ages. Charlotte Ottoway shares some attitudes for success among working Millennials in an article for The Reply. Ottoway begins though by actually warning against too much early goal-setting, as it might create tunnel vision that prevents young people from seeing how many opportunities are really open to them. The ticket to success is in fiercely pursuing careers, but leaving enough flexibility for you to consider other options and pivot when necessary. The young people Ottoway interviews for her article all share at least traits of the entrepreneurial spirit, if they are not outright entrepreneurs themselves. You can read the article here:
