10 Ways to Leverage Mobile Technology for Marketing

Well, okay, a mobile-friendly website and maybe an app do of course matter. Beyond that though, SMS/text alerts can be a great non-intrusive way to communicate messages or offer coupons. SMS polling, as seen on America’s Got Talent, can be used by businesses as a fast means of gathering data too. Make the best of rising mobile commerce by investigating near field communication (NFC) technology. On that same note, take advantage of location-based services (LBS) technology to let people “check in” at your business digitally, and make sure you have a strong mobile search presence using things like Google My Business. Lastly, some people argue that QR codes are already on the way out, but it may not hurt to slap one on something now and then.
