Nine Oopsy-Daisies to Dodge

Do not wait too long to launch a product or service; regardless of apprehension, just put something out there and roll with it. If you spend too much time thinking instead of acting, you will never have anything to show for it. Do not trying solve a problem that is too minute or unimportant either. Likewise, listen to all of your customers, not just the ones who validate your beliefs. If you are not selling enough, might it be the product that is the problem rather than the audience size? Adjust your expectations if you are delusional enough to believe that this will be quick and easy.

You have to differentiate your product from others by explaining precisely why yours is superior, and then make it stand out as a result. In any case, starting a business around a topic on which you are actually indifferent is a bad idea; you need to have at least some level of passion for it. Another thing to remember is that merely running a blog does not equate to a website. A blog only improves your reputation, so as to give your website a leg up. The final tip then is to not go it totally alone. Always be chatting with other entrepreneurs to keep each other motivated and talk through your problems.
