The Age of Success

Collamer recommends a “Reinvention R&D Budget,” which is any small or large amount of money you earmark for workshops, training, and networking in your new intended field. Another thing she likes is the idea of a “Life Story Worksheet” that organizes all the pertinent work experience you have had over the years. One last amusing thing recommended is an “idea party,” where you invite over a bunch of 50+ friends for a potluck (or something of the sort) and have them help you generate ideas for a new career.
