Some Interview Bullet Points from Yale

Are paragraphs not your style? Would you rather get your info fast and hard from a bland Word document? Then Yale has the interview tips for you! In a few basic lists, it tells you what and what not to do during phone and in-person interviews. For a phone interview, do: compile a list of your strengths/weaknesses/accomplishments, be in a quiet place, and take thoughtful pauses to answer questions. Do not: eat, ramble, or smoke (the interviewer will be able to smell it). In person, do: research the company, know where you are going with answers ahead of time, and ask for clarification when you do not understand the question. Do not: provide too much information or sucker punch the interviewer if you think things are not working out. I added that last one myself. You can read all the bullet points here: http://www.yale.edu/hronline/startcareer/resources/docs/interview_tips.pdf
