More Supply Chain Predictions for 2015

Just because it is February does not mean people are done making predictions for a year that is already one-twelfth over. Sean Riley writes for Manufacturing.net with some of his sharpest predictions.

11 Months of Predictions

The Internet of Things will enable high industrial innovation. Increasing adoption of automation will lower costs and create new revenue streams. Reshoring will continue while supply chains remain global and complex. Emerging markets will innovate and improve to compete with the re-shoring trend. We will see 3D printing at the center of manufacturing strategy. Lastly, government funding will inspire collaboration and standards creation, among friends and rivals alike.
