What Employee Performance Reviews Really Do

Do we have to review people? Is that really necessary? Well, of course it is, and Carol Deeb explains for Chron why that is the case. A review is useful for reestablishing an employee’s list of job duties. It also allows you to set standards for the type of performance you would like to see moving forward, as well as set future goals. Just make sure that once reviews are a regular thing that you can dedicate yourself to maintaining the rate of review that has been set.
