8 Habits of a Well-Rested Person

Are you doing the best you can to be well-rested? Abigail Cardi writes an article with eight signs to make sure. For starters, you need to “de-stress” in advance of bedtime, because stress can wake you up in the middle of the night. Maintain a regular sleep schedule, and if you are in need of a change, adjust your bedtime incrementally for a smoother transition. Avoid using the Snooze button, because it just makes you feel worse in the long run. Make good use of naps, capping the short ones at 30 minutes. Banish your beloved pets and digital devices, because they interrupt sleep. Then just remember to make sleep a big priority in the first place.
