4 Ways to Evaluate Employee Performance

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization provides some advice in an article for Inc. for unique ways to evaluate employee performance. The first possibility is to get everyone involved in a quarterly performance plan where they provide input on each other’s plans. The second is the “coin” approach, where for every metric you use to measure performance, you pair it with another metric that balances it out (such as “volume of calls” and “customer satisfaction” in customer service). Third, there is the Entrepreneurial Operating System that scores people based on how they measure up to core company values. And fourth, you can just take an employee to lunch with some questions provided to them in advance and listen to how they answer.
