3 Factors Driving Green Supply Chains

Andrew Pring reports on the findings of a new whitepaper by DHL that identifies three factors that are ushering in greener supply chains. As we have discussed in the past, becoming more eco-friendly has the combined benefits of improving the company public image while also streamlining some business processes. The factors identified in the report are escalating consumer pressure, the need to improve efficiency and reduce costs, and the “compliance squeeze.” The report further mentions comments from Deloitte Consulting, who says “leading companies create value by modifying their supply chains to manage the key inputs and outputs: energy, carbon, water, materials and waste.” To learn more, you can read the full article here:
