Puppet is an open source IT automation tool that recently earned $40 million in investments. The need for cybersecurity and information security is on the rise as a result of the number of major headline data breaches there have been in the past year. Big data has been seen as a game changer across a variety of industries, and the ability to use it smartly can be a major career booster. NoSQL is a data management skill that offers flexibility and agility. About Salesforce, the slideshow says:

Headquartered in San Francisco, Calif., Salesforce is a cloud-based company offering global application support for sales, service, collaboration, marketing, and cloud PaaS. Given their expanding services and easy access, there's little doubt companies will continue looking for Salesforce-familiar tech employees for some time to come.

Hadoop is an open source, distributed data management platform that is useful for managing unstructured and semi-structured data, like call center transcripts.
