Up till now, much of work has been based on scientific management, where people are trained to do segmented, repeatable tasks. SMAC will take a better, more evolved approach to managing people that will increase overall productivity. It will use analytics to predict the future, the results of it will be mobile, costs will be cut by the cloud, and everyone involved will be networked.
