Growing Together

Employers should systematically select interns the same as they would employees. Once hired, they should be given a well-rounded experience that entails more than just filing paperwork. Write up a specific developmental plan for their growth. At least one mentor should be committed to seeing this growth occur. Include interns in regular organization events, and if at all possible, hire your best ones.
