Embrace the Darkness

When you suppress negative feelings about yourself, you are not really doing anything productive. When you honestly face your feelings about what you perceive to be failings, then you can decide on a course of action to improve. And improvement builds confidence. Of course, “improvement” is a pretty long and complicated step in itself. It means a lot of hard work, and probably more failure, before you can take a step back and see how far you have come.
