Should I Move to a New City to Look for a Job?

Alan Henry writes that you do not need to skip town right away in order to find a job in your desired field. You can find a lot of related positions in unsuspecting businesses at home, such as looking for work in IT departments of non-tech businesses if you want to work with technology. If you have your heart set on a specific city though, do a mock search of jobs to see what is really available there. Factor in the cost of living as well, in addition to transportation costs, using the Internet to help calculate. Henry concludes that it really is in your best interest to find a job before you move.
