Getting the Most Out of a Teleconference

You want to ensure that participants have all necessary materials in advance of the call, and you should ask people to introduce themselves as the conference begins. Make sure only one person talks at a time, stay on topic, and keep a running list of responsibilities that people are taking. Likewise, if you think of an important question, write it down immediately lest you forget 30 seconds later. But when you are the one speaking, talk slightly slower than usual and enunciate.
