James Clear writes a really enlightening article about an often unspoken truth regarding our goals—it is possible to get pretty bored in the pursuit of reaching them. He says a big part of what distinguishes successful people is that they are willing to push through the drudge of the daily grind in pursuit of bigger things. It is okay to admit to yourself that the climb up the mountain is not always a thrilling one. If you really want to conquer the boredom though, you need to learn to love the process of whatever it is you are doing.
