How to Train Your Brain to Stay Focused

Your brain is literally pleased to switch tasks when you ought to be focusing on just one thing, so Nadia Goodman wants to help you train your brain to stay focused longer and better. She says you need to do the creative work first, because it demands the most energy. If you put it off in favor of completing menial work first, you may not have the energy left to complete the creative work to the best of your ability. Take notice of what hours of the week you do your best work and allocate your most challenging work to those time slots. All in all, treat your brain like a muscle; practice staying focused on a singular task for a small chunk of time, and keep practicing at bigger chunks.
