Make requests versus complaints, because complaints in isolation solve nothing. Even better, suggest solutions. Manage your own growth by specifically asking for new types of work that point you in the direction that you would like to go. Be a good “corporate citizen” who facilitates work and communication. And lastly, consider ways to make your boss’s life easier. When you support your boss, your boss will be more eager to support you.
