Always be asking for ideas, especially from new employees who are not ingrained in company culture. Display a “What if…” board where workers can dare to pose any outlandish question. Make a technology-free space where people can just sit and reflect. Create contests focusing on idea challenges and allow even families of workers to participate. Do a job swap day where people get to experience and develop appreciation for each other’s duties.
