Create a regular schedule for meeting, and before meetings, send ahead a short agenda to your mentor so that the mentor may make appropriate preparations to best help you. At the same time, take the effort to learn about your mentor as well, respecting their time and their work. Mind the boundaries of the relationship but remember that you only get help when you ask for it.
