  •  Focusing on the bigger picture
  • Emphasizing the importance of process
  • Paying attention to what excites them
  • Positive reinforcement

Build On Excitement

Focusing on each of these points might not take much time, but it certainly helps your employees understand where the organization is going and how they fit into that effort. For example, the point of “paying attention to what excites them” involves reading body language clues to determine what your employee needs to hear at the very moment you are having a conversation, allowing for a micro-moment of inspiration and motivation!
