4 Ways to Socialize When You Work Alone

Just because you work alone does not mean you need to be lonely. April Boland provides four ways to find that vital social time that keeps you happy and productive. She first says to consider joining or starting a club pertaining to one of your passions. You can also organize a full-blown dinner party for friends new and old if you really want to go big. Alternatively, you can plan business lunches to build rapport with people you rarely see. This is a particularly good idea because it most directly enables you to network with colleagues within the business. But when all else fails, just go for an old-fashioned run. You never know who you might meet.
