Why You Should Care About Having Friends at Work

Like the Beatles said, “I get by with a little help from my friends,” and if there is anyone who knows about tips for success, it would be them. Carolyn Gregoire writes an article about why having friends at work matters. Research shows office social connections boost productivity and increase passion for the work. In fact, just the opportunity for friendship at work can increase job satisfaction. One in three adults has met one of their best friends in a workplace setting. The underlying idea is that we feel dedication to our friends, and if we work with our friends, we are going to want to work harder for each other. The whole company stands to benefit.
