So you’re going for an internal job opening, and you’re pretty sure that you don’t need to take the interview seriously because, hey, everyone knows you already, right? Well, according to Kristin Burnham, you shouldn’t assume anything. An internal job interview does present its own benefits, but also its own challenges.  As Burnham explains, you should expect to answer tougher questions and own up to past mistakes, as your employer will be acutely aware of how well you did your last job!
