Holidays and the holiday season are supposed to be a serene break from work, but what actually happens is your schedule becomes twice as hectic as you stretch yourself even thinner to get work done and carve out time for friends and family. Meghan M. Biro at Forbes offers solutions. She says to disconnect from all devices at a set time every day. Take legitimate vacations when the chance arises. Whether it is your spouse or colleagues, delegate work thoughtfully and often. Recognize that you do not need every electronic device you own on your person at all times. And pick a day once a week to go off the grid and just live life. Life is better when you are sane enough to appreciate it.
