4 Reasons to Stay in Your Current Job (for Now)

Maybe do not make that plunge into the deep end just yet. Anne Fisher writes for CNN Money about four reasons to stay put for a little while. The first is that in an economy where qualified workers such as yourself are abundant and eager, salaries and compensation packages drop compared to when your skills are in greater demand. New hires are also under more pressure, again because the current economy demands results now rather than later. The rule of “last hired, first fired” does indeed apply. Lastly, remember that different is not always better, and quitting as a result of one bad incident might be a mistake in the long run.
