10 Smart Ways to Quit Your Job

So it has come to this. You are ready to take your plants and get outta there. Chad Brooks writes an article about ten steps to quitting the right way. Do it on a Friday, so that everyone has the weekend to digest the impending change, and ask your boss the best method to spread the news to others. The more notice you can give in advance, the better, and provide compliments when possible to your boss and the company as you resign. Review all documents pertaining to a new job before quitting the current one. Be honest but not brutally honest in your exit interview. Provide reasons why you have decided to leave. Lastly, leave a few helpful notes for your successor, just to show you are a swell pal.
